Last updated · 12 October 2026

This policy explains the current way Spike Media handles personal information. It is written to support transparent marketing, including LinkedIn advertising and Lead Gen Forms.

01

Who this policy is for

Spike Media (referred to in this policy as “Spike Media”, “we”, “us” and “our”) is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy applies when you visit spike-media.com, send us an enquiry, book a call, or submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form for Spike Media.

For privacy questions or requests, email contact@spike-media.com.

02

Information we handle

We collect only the information needed for the interaction you choose to have with us. This can include:

  • Website enquiries: your name, email address, selected services and the message you submit.
  • Call bookings: the contact and scheduling information you provide through Calendly, plus booking-confirmation details.
  • LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms: the information LinkedIn makes available from the fields you choose to submit, which may include your name, email address, job title, company, professional profile details, responses to form questions and campaign/form metadata.
  • Website and advertising activity: limited technical and usage information made available through the services used to operate, secure and measure this website.

03

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to your request, arrange a consultation, prepare relevant recommendations or proposals, manage our relationship with you, secure the website and understand whether our marketing is effective.

For LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, our primary use is to follow up on the service, call or information you requested. We will only use a lead for additional marketing where that use is clearly described and you have provided any consent required for it.

Where UK or EEA privacy law applies, our grounds may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, meeting legal obligations, and consent where it is required.

04

LinkedIn advertising and Lead Gen Forms

This page is the dedicated privacy policy for any Spike Media LinkedIn Lead Gen Form. When a form asks for information, the form itself will describe its main purpose. If we need consent for a separate purpose, such as optional marketing updates, we will use the relevant LinkedIn disclosure checkbox or another clear consent mechanism.

We do not sell Lead Gen Form data. We do not use Lead Gen Form data for unlawful discrimination, and we do not target advertising using sensitive personal data. If you ask us to stop using or delete Lead Gen Form data, we will action that request without undue delay, subject to any lawful retention requirement.

At the date of this policy, this website does not load the LinkedIn Insight Tag. If we introduce the Insight Tag, Conversions API, matched audiences or another LinkedIn advertising-measurement tool in future, we will update this policy before use and apply the relevant notice and consent approach required by applicable law.

05

Cookies, scheduling and measurement

We use service providers that help us run the website and understand enquiries. The current website includes Google Ads conversion measurement and Calendly resources for appointment scheduling. Those providers may process limited technical information or use cookies and similar technologies in line with their own policies.

We will provide the information and choices required by applicable law when using non-essential cookies or advertising technologies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although some features, including scheduling, may not work as intended if relevant cookies are blocked.

06

Sharing and protecting information

We may share information with carefully selected providers that help us deliver our services, including website and hosting providers, email-delivery providers, Calendly, Google advertising services and professional advisers where necessary. They may process information only for the relevant service or on our instructions, subject to appropriate safeguards.

LinkedIn processes information submitted through its platform under LinkedIn’s own privacy terms. We receive the details you submit to a Spike Media Lead Gen Form and remain responsible for our own use of those details.

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we limit access to people and providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy.

07

Retention and your rights

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to manage our relationship with you, and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where appropriate.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the use of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To make a request, email contact@spike-media.com.

08

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, advertising practices or legal requirements change. The current version will always be available on this page and will show the date it was last updated.
